Board members noted the agreed pay rate for hearing officers is $750 per hearing session, not the originally discussed $500 per night figure.
One commissioner asked about the mechanics of transitioning pending petitions; staff explained that as petitions are filed they will be routed to the hearing officer and the county will pay according to the agreed rate. The ordinance passed by voice vote.
