The Bruceville-Eddy City Council unanimously approved a replat on May 20 that combines seven lots in the Shady Shores addition into a single parcel to permit placement of a new manufactured home.
City staff described the request as a replat for 101 (listed as 103 in some documents) Shady Shores Drive that "is gonna combine 7 lots into a single lot, and the purpose being, so that the new property owner can develop that and install a new manufactured home across the existing lot lines," City Administrator Kent Wiggins said. The MRB Group engineering review noted that the initial plat lacked setback lines; staff provided an electronic version with setback lines in the council packet.
A representative of Cabin Investments (the applicant) was present. One council member moved to approve after noting the lot had been cleaned up, and Mr. Richardson seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
Council and staff noted the property will require permits for the manufactured home and referenced a similar replat approved for a neighboring property a few years earlier. No additional conditions were listed in the meeting record.
