Court members also acknowledged the treasurer’s April financial statement and the clerk’s April report. The court voted to close one bank account and open a new account at First United Bank and Trust, moving savings into a prime business money‑market account to earn higher interest. The motion to change accounts carried.
Other routine actions approved included payment of bills and claims, and clerk motor vehicle and boat bills for 2025. The court noted the fiscal year end requires several transfers and accepted a late bill list that had been provided.
The court did not take policy action beyond the resolution and financial motions; members discussed specific uses of road-aid funds, including materials and general road operations, and noted recent bridge projects and an allocation of $100,000 toward a Quarter Horse Bridge project.
