Site presenters described how funds supported paraprofessionals who deliver small-group instruction and interventions, an AVID coach at the elementary level, Read 180 intervention for struggling readers, thinking-maps/teacher coaching, summer institute attendance and classroom supplies. Presenters reported measurable growth on internal reading and math assessments in several secondary grades (for example, two testing periods showed double-digit growth in some ninth- and tenth-grade reading measures as reported by the presenter).
Rosemont Elementary and other elementary sites emphasized Title I paraeducator staffing for TK–2 classrooms, an intervention teacher credited with accelerated gains for individual students, and parent engagement activities such as free book distributions and Back-to-School nights. District staff noted a total Title I expenditure figure discussed in the presentation (reported in the transcript as roughly $349,000–$350,000 for specific site investments) and itemized examples of where funds were allocated.
