The Planning and Zoning Commission voted to approve the final plat, covenants and performance bonds for Odyssey Ridge (formerly Sisson Road Townhomes), a proposed 91‑lot townhome subdivision north of Timber Trace Apartments along Sisson Road that is already under site construction.
Staff reported the sketch plat was approved by City Council on Feb. 14, 2023, and that the final plat is consistent with the comprehensive plan and preliminary plat requirements (Chapter 34, Article 3, Division Plat of the Titusville Code). Staff also recommended acceptance of the covenants and the required performance bonds and sidewalk performance bond. The subdivision’s site development work is underway; final plat approval formalizes public acceptance of infrastructure and permits subsequent lot sales.
No public comments were submitted at the hearing. Member Faison moved to approve the final plat; the motion was seconded and approved by roll call. Staff said City Council will consider the final plat on June 10.
Speakers on the record included the city planner presenting the item and multiple commission members who voted to approve. The item is now set for City Council consideration on June 10.
