The commission also approved Northchase Plat Number 10, presented by Brad Flowers of Flowers & White Engineering, which subdivides a site east of Contractors Boulevard in an M1 zoning district into two lots. Flowers described the eastern lot as roughly 3.5 acres and the western lot as roughly one acre; development plans for the lots were anticipated in a later meeting.
Stivers 4 Plat Number 1, presented by a licensed surveyor representing Stivers Realty LLC, was approved to combine six existing lots on Eastern Boulevard and Mooknee Road into a single lot to support vehicle sales and associated parking.
The commission held public hearings (no final votes recorded during the meeting) on three development-plan items: a development plan for new structures on the southeast corner of Taylor Road and Halcyon Summit Drive presented by Russ Ware of Capstone Engineering Group (two convenience/restaurant lots and a quick-service restaurant concept); a development plan for a proposed LiveAway Suites at 135 Chantilly Parkway presented by Chris Bostic; and a development-plan presentation for an expansion of Stivers Ford at 4000 Eastern Boulevard presented by John Melhouse of Civil Consultants on behalf of the applicant. Commissioners asked routine questions about use, access and drainage; no final action on these development plans was recorded in the transcript.
Where applicants noted corrections, staff and commissioners recorded them in the public record: for example, Flowers noted the plat filed was Northchase Plat Number 10 (the agenda listed it as Number 1). For the school-district street dedication, Jones said the street would remain Todd Road and that the district would not vacate the adjoining roadway until the city's acceptance and recording procedures were complete.
