"This project is much earlier in the process than some of our others," staff said, noting preliminary engineering is the current phase and construction is anticipated in 2027 or thereabouts.
The committee approved forwarding the prospectus and local agency agreement; staff said $4 million in federal Protect Fund funding has been secured for the overall program and that $3.4 million is intended for construction once engineering is finished.
