Farragut adopts ordinance allowing town administrator to designate municipal court clerk

After a brief opportunity for resident comment, which drew none, the board voted to approve the ordinance by roll call: Alderman White, Vice Mayor Meyer and Mayor Ron Williams each voted yes.
The recorder noted the ordinance passed on a 3–0 roll call at approximately 6:06 p.m. The amendment authorizes the town administrator to appoint an employee to serve as municipal court clerk; the board gave no additional direction in the meeting.
