Representatives of Union Tank Car appeared during public comment to request an update on a wastewater ordinance and to offer a site visit of their new treatment system.
Brandon Howard and Thomas Bell, speaking for Union Tank Car, said they have been working with City staff and that their last update from staff indicated the ordinance was “currently with the city attorney.” They asked what steps remain and offered to host an on‑site visit to the new treatment system.
Mayor Danny Lee and staff told the visitors the new city manager, scheduled to start the next day, would be briefed and that staff (including Roger Brooks) would arrange a meeting with the new manager and the company to discuss outstanding questions and next steps. No formal council action was taken; staff committed to follow up and to accept contact information so the visit and discussion can be scheduled.
