Jo Ellen McKenzie, a member of the Coolidge exhibits committee, described work to conserve hats, boots, clothing and other objects connected to President Calvin Coolidge and local music-history materials. She told the council that the museum will use the conservator’s recommendations to stabilize items for future exhibitions and storage planning. McKenzie specifically thanked the CPC for recommending approval and asked the council to move the CPC-recommended grants forward.
Councilors chose to refer all nine FY25 second-round CPC funding financial orders to the finance committee for consideration rather than resolve them at the meeting. Finance will review each CPC recommendation and return a report and recommendation to the full council.
