Plano Parks adopts 'mixed maintenance' mowing in select areas to support native plants

Under the approach, mowing is reduced in select locations to help native plants thrive, improve habitats for pollinators and conserve resources, Stoler said. The city directed residents to share.plano.gov/growzones for more information on where the practice will be used and the goals of the program.
