The Wappingers Central School District Board of Education approved a four‑year installment purchase agreement (IPA) with Dutchess County BOCES to acquire computer hardware, software and related equipment, with a maximum principal cost of $709,812.50.
The IPA covers replacement of 393 student Chromebooks, 430 desktop computers, 60 student iPads and purchase of networking equipment to be funded through the federal E‑Rate program where applicable. The resolution stated the IPA will run across four fiscal years beginning in the 2025‑26 school year and that borrowing details will be finalized by the superintendent, subject to approval by the Commissioner of Education.
Trustee Peggy (name as recorded in the minutes) moved the resolution and Trustee Sloshauer seconded; the board voted unanimously to approve the agreement.
