County engineer's office authorized trade-in credit on pad-foot drum roller purchase

Lee Bogner of the County Engineer's Office told the board the original April 7 purchase authorization omitted the trade-in and that Southeastern Equipment agreed to accept a Case dozer in trade, offering a $4,000 credit through the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Program. The board adopted Resolution No. 25-372 to authorize the trade-in as a credit toward the earlier approved purchase.
Commissioners voted aye (Merrill and Benton) with Commissioner Lewis absent. The engineer indicated the trade-in credit was advantageous; no additional budget detail or vendor contract text was read into the record at the meeting.
