Among items approved were a $1,200 gift to the Doug White Memorial Recreation Fund and a $1,700 gift from the Friends of Sleepy Hollow to purchase stone pavers for a garden bench.
The board nominated Alan Bergozhian of 1624 Main Street and Greg Dorothy of 188 Border Road to the Planning Board for terms ending May 31, 2030; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The board also voted to make a corrective appointment for Mary Hartman, as the Select Board representative to the Concord Municipal Affordable Housing Trust, correcting the first term to expire May 31, 2026. In a separate motion, the board reappointed Brad Hubbard Nelson to the Climate Action Committee for a term to expire May 31, 2028.
Board members discussed the Planning Board nominees’ backgrounds and prospects for a more proactive planning board, citing experience with municipal processes and construction-related work as factors in the nominations. The board agreed to remove two sets of older meeting minutes (April 14 and May 5) from final approval pending minor clarifications.
