The Senate Economic Development Committee considered House Concurrent Resolution 118, a resolution expressing legislative support for expanding the warship manufacturing industry in Texas.
The senator presenting the resolution described it as “very straightforward” and said, “House concurrent resolution 118 demonstrates support from Texas, support from the Texas legislature to expand the warship manufacturing industry in Texas. And, with that, I'm happy to try and answer any questions. We need more warships.”
The committee opened for public testimony and had no registered witnesses. The resolution was left pending for the full Senate.
