Senate confirms nominees to state and regional boards after nominations committee report

For the first list the secretary recorded "31 ayes and no nays" and the nominees were confirmed. The second list was also confirmed by a recorded count of "31 ayes and no nays." Senator Campbell moved both confirmations on the floor.
The first action report, as read on the floor, included nominees such as Kirsten Baron Cahoon for Administrative Judicial Region 6 and Clifton Earl Bickerstaff for the Board for Lease of Texas Parks and Wildlife Lands, among others. The transcript shows the list also included nominees for the Brazos County Regional Mobility Authority and other local authorities.
The second action report included nominees such as Sarah Jones Oates for the Credit Union Commission, as well as nominees for county and river authority posts (Travis County, Ward County, Parker County, Lavaca Navidad River Authority, Jackson County and others) as read by the secretary.
Senator Campbell moved confirmation of both lists and asked if there were any requests to sever nominations; none were recorded. The confirmations were approved by recorded tallies announced on the floor.
