The Sioux Falls City Council approved a preliminary plan Tuesday for Fossfield Second edition, a 26‑acre commercial subdivision at the southwest corner of East Sixth Street and Veterans Parkway.
Beau Kupel of Infrastructure Design Group presented the plan; Joel Engel of FOSS Development is the owner. Kupel said the proposal is a commercial development on roughly 26 acres. The Planning Commission recommended approval 5-0. No public speakers addressed the item at the meeting.
Councilor Cole moved to approve the preliminary plan and Councilor Bassey seconded; the council voted in favor during a roll call and the resolution passed unanimously. Staff will proceed with the subdivision’s next steps under the city’s platting and development review process.
