Planning commission approves final plat for Renaissance Point phase 2

The Planning Commission on May 14 approved the final plat for Phase 2 of Renaissance Point, a replat that subdivides and renames lots, establishes easements and designates approximately 1.53 acres as open space as part of the larger master development.
City planner Miss Benninger reviewed the replat changes: Lot 1 will be divided to create Lots 7 and 8; other lots will be retitled (e.g., Lot 2 to 2A) and Lot 10 is formally designated as 1.5312 acres of open space. The plat also documents sanitary-sewer and water-main easements, public storm- and drainage easements, and records an electrical easement on the State Route 122 border (subject to negotiation prior to final recording).
Benninger said the plat was acceptable to public-works staff and that recording requires City Council adoption and endorsement after the Planning Commission vote. No public comments were offered and the commission moved to approve the replat and forward it to council for adoption and recording.
