Shelton Springs hosts Disc Golf ProTour event; organizers say weekend drew 3,000 visitors

Folscrove said the event drew more than 3,000 people across the weekend, including top-ranked professional players, media and fans, and generated local economic activity: hotels reported high occupancy, restaurants saw increased traffic and many visitors explored downtown Shelton. He credited more than 100 volunteers and responsive city staff for helping make the event run smoothly.
Ryan Smith, speaking on behalf of Mason County Disc Golf, listed local businesses and city staff members who supported the event and urged continued partnership, saying the Cascade Challenge could become an annual attraction that brings national exposure and economic benefit to Shelton.
