At its May 20 meeting, the Highwood City Council approved the minutes from its May 6 meeting, accepted the March 2025 treasurer’s financial report, and approved the warrant list dated May 20, 2025.
A motion to approve the May 6 minutes was moved and seconded and passed. The council also moved to accept the treasurer’s March 2025 report; during that exchange a council member asked, “Do we have to vote on this or no?” and the presiding official replied that a vote was not always required but that they would take one. The motion to accept the treasurer’s report was seconded and taken as agreed.
The council then moved to approve the warrant list dated May 20, 2025; that motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The meeting record notes there was no public input during the session.
