Commission adopts affordable‑housing inventory resolution required by statute

The administrator described the action as "a resolution of Board of County Commissioners pursuant to section 123 subsection 3 79 Florida statute adopting an inventory list of all real property within this jurisdiction to which Gulf County holds fee simple title that is appropriate for use as affordable housing." A motion to adopt the resolution passed on the board floor (motion by Commissioner Husbands, seconded by Commissioner McCrone) with no opposition recorded.
Staff said the inventory will remain in effect for three years and the county will revisit the list before it sunsets again in 2028.
