"I don't want y'all to say that you're good with closing it for 6 months because I don't think you are," one commissioner said.
County staff agreed to continue talks with partner agencies and return with updates at future meetings. Commissioners voiced concern about public access to the boat ramp and seasonal impacts if a closure extended into summer or fall recreation periods. No formal action was taken other than direction to continue monitoring and report back to the board.
