Commission re-signs hazard mitigation plan adoption resolution to correct date

County staff explained the commission had already adopted the hazard mitigation plan in March, but the resolution lacked the correct date on the signed paperwork. To avoid reassigning a new resolution number, staff redrafted the resolution with the correct date and asked the commission to re-sign it. The commission motioned to sign the hazard mitigation plan adoption resolution 14-38 and approved the corrected document.
Paul (county staff) and commissioners confirmed the action was procedural: the plan itself had already been adopted, and the May 20 vote corrected the record by applying the proper date to the existing resolution number. No change to the substance of the hazard mitigation plan was described at the meeting.
