The only contractual flexibility offered by Georgia Power, staff said, was to reduce the withdrawal volume; county consultants recommended retaining the 3,000,000-gallon-per-day volume and executing the agreement. The county attorney reported that he negotiated lower insurance limits with Georgia Power to match the county's current coverage rather than the levels in the initial proposal; the board approved the agreement and authorized the county manager to sign.
No further action or changes were recorded in the meeting minutes beyond authorizing execution of the revised agreement.
