FOSTORIA — The City Council voted to adopt a shared-compensation agreement with Seneca County and the City of Tiffin to fund an IT technician who will support local law-enforcement IT systems, and separately approved a service provider contract with Bascom Advanced Services Inc.
Councilmembers moved to amend language in the county-drafted memorandum of understanding, replacing the term “part time” with “shared,” and then adopted the ordinance as amended (Ordinance 2025-38). The Bascom contract was adopted under emergency procedures (Ordinance 2025-39).
