Tyrone said those associations “send a very poor message” about alcohol and youth.
She told the board she had discussed the matter earlier with district administrators and offered to work with booster clubs and all‑night committees to develop alternative, alcohol‑free fundraising ideas. Tyrone said the district does not directly oversee booster club activities but noted that online materials often associate the events with the district.
