The City of Apopka Development Review Committee on May 21 reviewed a second submittal construction site plan for an Amazon DFL5 AVI facility that will provide truck storage and circulation for the Amazon campus. Reviewers reported that transportation, stormwater and utility comments were addressed in the submittal and that public services had no outstanding comments.
City staff noted a planning-system presentation error (the plan appeared upside down in the packet) but said the technical reviews are complete. Public services staff confirmed in the city’s review system that “transportation, stormwater and two of the elements have been adequately addressed” and that the public services department had no additional comments at this time.
No formal motion or vote was recorded. The DRC asked staff to ensure any review comments posted in separate review-system instances are emailed to the project contact so the applicant receives all outstanding items; staff said they would do so.
