County Engineer Dan Becker presented two resolutions that commissioners approved: one to remove bridge load limits in parts of Medina County and a second determining the necessity to close Longacre Lane for culvert replacement and drainage work.
Becker said the bridge-load resolution was one of two items he had prepared; the second concerns Longacre Lane, where culvert replacement and drainage improvements require a temporary closure. Commissioners discussed scheduling and noted one item had been rescheduled before the meeting; Becker confirmed the Longacre Lane closure determination would allow staff to proceed with necessary work and rescheduling as needed.
Both resolutions were moved, seconded and carried on roll call by the commissioners present. The county engineer and staff will coordinate traffic control, closure notices and the construction schedule as required.
