City Recorder Tracy Perry introduced an update to the City of Red Bank’s comprehensive travel policy (Resolution No. 25-1800) at the May 20 work session, telling commissioners that the policy had last been approved in 2013 and included outdated reimbursement references.
Perry said staff revised the policy to align reimbursement rates with the then-current General Services Administration (GSA) standards used by federal and state employees and to remove references to an older vendor or method. Perry described the update as modernization of the policy language and rates; commissioners had no questions during the work session.
The revision was presented for commission approval; no formal vote was recorded in the work session transcript.
