Applicants stated the events are annual and that they had met with city departments, including the police and fire departments, where required. The board reminded petitioners that police detail is required for events with off-premises activity and that the city may waive fees in certain circumstances but does not automatically do so.
Motions to approve the permits passed unanimously for the items listed on the meeting agenda. The board also approved transfers and change-of-manager requests bundled with some permit approvals where applicants presented necessary documentation.
Board members asked applicants to confirm scheduling and payment with the clerk and police detail office in advance of their events.
