The Connellsville Area School District board placed on the agenda a resolution to advertise the proposed final budget for the 2025–26 fiscal year for both the school district and the career and technical center, as presented on the official budget form. The resolution, as read at the meeting, directs the district secretary to make the proposed final budget available for public inspection and to advertise a notice of intent to adopt the final budget at least 10 days before the scheduled adoption date in a newspaper of general circulation and by posting the notice at district offices.
During the finance report the board also read and placed on the agenda several donations intended for the district’s career and technical center: a $1,000 donation from Heartland Fabrication for a student competition, a $75 donation (read as "Ian Roth race") and a cash donation of $53. These donations were read into the record and scheduled for formal acceptance on the board meeting agenda.
The finance committee also announced a committee meeting and noted other routine items, including summer‑feeding adult prices (adult breakfast $3; adult lunch $5), and that the administration would present additional budget materials at a future meeting. The resolution presentation was informational at this stage; formal adoption of the final budget will follow the required public‑notice and inspection period spelled out in the resolution.
