Commission rejects policy requiring prior approval for city renovations over $50,000

Vote: The motion to require commission approval for renovations over $50,000 failed 4‑3. Commissioners asked staff to provide enhanced project detail and to make sure future scheduled projects are clearly itemized in upcoming budget materials rather than imposing the blanket $50,000 purchasing hurdle.
