At its May 20, 2025 meeting, the Community Preservation Committee appointed Eleanor to serve as the committee’s representative on the Affordable Housing Trust Fund proposal review committee and agreed to move the CPC’s annual meeting to Wednesday, July 23 at 10 a.m., subject to ratification at the June meeting.
Committee members said Eleanor had expressed interest in serving as an adviser to the Affordable Housing Trust Fund committee, which combined three requests for proposals into a single RFP. A motion to appoint Eleanor was made and seconded and carried with unanimous aye votes recorded from John, Eleanor, Joe, Tom and Tim.
Members also discussed scheduling for the annual meeting to accommodate a speaker who is available only on Wednesdays; the committee agreed to the July 23 date and said it would formally ratify the scheduling change at its June meeting. One member noted the decision was important because of the amount of Housing Trust money and recent bond activity related to housing funding.
No other new business actions were recorded at the meeting.
