Council and finance committee members noted finance also discussed a potential second vehicle that may be considered later this year; the council action at this meeting covered the immediate authorization for one vehicle only. The resolution passed on roll call.
Staff said the vehicle procurement will proceed through the approved vendor and lease/purchase financing; final delivery and outfitting timelines will be handled by the police department and finance office.
