Trustee Zimbelman explained the rationale: the church allows youth teams to use its gym and the portable restroom will support those activities; she described the agreement as similar to other usage agreements the village holds with schools and community groups and said the cost will be covered with village funds.
Both items were included on the consent agenda and approved by omnibus vote; trustees noted this is a limited license agreement — the village is placing and maintaining the unit, and the church is allowing access for park and recreation activities.
