Matt, chair of Mason Recreation District (appearing as a community representative), said the design calls for a rustic ranch‑style fence and vegetative screening along property borders, and that the trail would include separate uphill and downhill alignments to manage multi‑use bicycling and hiking. He reported Pinebrook HOA had voted to approve trails on its portion of the parcel and that negotiations with adjoining landowners were underway.
The presentation said the new trail and fencing aim to direct users to the intended access points and away from informal demand trails that currently enter district fields; rangers would help educate users and signage would be used to minimize trespass onto active school grounds. The board approved the easement motion without additional amendments and thanked Mason Recreation District for the outreach and design work.
