The Arlington Board approved awarding the FY25 partial reroofing project for Arlington High School to ARC Roofing for a base lump‑sum price of $804,849.
Superintendent Allison Clark said seven vendors attended the pre-bid walkthrough and ARC Roofing submitted the recommended low bid. A company representative told the board the anticipated installation would take roughly one month, and the materials include a 20‑year manufacturer's warranty plus a workmanship warranty.
Board members asked the contractor about scope and schedule. ARC Roofing said the work will cover the gym and portions above the library and a rear cafeteria/CTE area as part of a phased approach. The contractor noted weather can affect metal‑related work but said the company has completed similar school projects in the region.
The board approved the contract by voice vote with no opposition. Superintendent Clark said final contract documents and drawings will be coordinated with district facilities staff before construction begins in the summer.
