Megan and Adam Brewster asked the Lebanon Planning Commission to recommend rezoning roughly 1.3 acres at 350 Lane Road from rural residential to RS-9 to permit division into two lots.
"We're just wanting to rezone so we can divide the property, just 2 properties, and build our dream home on the flat acre," applicant Megan Brewster told the commission.
Planning staff said the city's future land-use map indicates the property as residential four units per acre and that the RS-9 designation is consistent with the South Harbor overlay's auto-suburban single-family detached category. Staff recommended forwarding the item to the City Council; staff said first-reading and public hearing would occur July 1 with second reading July 15.
No commission vote on final rezoning was recorded at the meeting; the item will proceed to City Council for the legislative hearings the staff outlined.
