Janet Claude, identified at the meeting as the club president, told trustees the group has about 35 members and that the club typically provides around $10,000 annually to local organizations. At the meeting Claude listed the 2025 contributions and programs the club supports.
Claude said the club would provide $850 to the library “to purchase debt payable and supplies,” $5,500 to the police department toward a commemorative officer recognition wall, $500 to neighborhood watch for stolen-light purchases through the police department, $1,200 to the fire department for warming cabinet equipment at 10 Mile Park, $1,000 to the Fourth of July committee for fireworks, $500 to the recreation department for a piece of equipment, $100 for a bench contribution, and $200 to purchase POW flags for village use. The club also described ongoing food pantry support through Saint Catherine’s and local scholarships.
President Montgomery thanked the club for its long-term community service. The board received the presentation as part of its reports from elected officials and staff; no board action was required.
