Tim (city staff) described the work as flooring for “roughly a quarter of the area of the overall gym floor” to provide softer flooring under exercise equipment. He said the work will be in the gym building behind the station rather than inside the new station and that installation may occur in July; staff said the station is expected to be ready by June 24.
The motion to approve the $23,200.71 contract was seconded and approved by voice vote. No amendments or conditions were placed on the approval at the meeting.
