Trussville City Schools on Monday approved a consent-agenda item to enter a 60-month beverage contract with Buffalo Rock, the district said during its consent-item presentation.
Administrators told the board Buffalo Rock approached the district with an offer that would double the in-kind beverage provision the district was receiving from Coca-Cola and would include additional services. The recommendation to approve a 60-month agreement with Buffalo Rock was part of the consent agenda and was approved with the other consent items.
During the consent discussion Dr. Martin said Jim Kirkland, Coach Walker and he had met with Buffalo Rock and considered its proposal. The board approved the consent agenda by voice vote; the district will proceed with contract execution under the terms presented in the consent materials.
