Items on the consent agenda included approval of the April 22, 2025 regular and special meeting minutes; a personnel report showing multiple new hires; payroll and bills; acceptance of donations from local groups and vendors; destruction of closed-session recordings from October 24, 2023; and authorization renewals for software and services including PowerSchool support, Red Rover attendance/absence management and electronic time tracking, Microsoft volume license renewals, Frontline Education subscriptions, content-filtering and monitoring services, and other district subscriptions. The board also approved a BHS overnight field trip for orchestra and choir and ERP and CNI software renewals.
Board member Raquel moved approval and Rob seconded. Trustees voted by roll call and the consent agenda passed. Trustees asked clarifying questions about remaining certified vacancies (staff said two currently open, possibly rising to five due to internal movement) and accommodations for students with financial need related to music-field trip fundraising. The personnel report and donation acceptance were noted as part of normal monthly operations.
