The Cochise County Library District board voted 3-0 to approve two consent-agenda items at its meeting on May 20 in the Board of Supervisors Hearing Room in Bisbee.
Under Arizona law the meeting provided for public access; a county announcer said members of the public would have physical access to the meeting room 15 minutes prior to the start and could also join via Microsoft Teams or the mobile app. The clerk noted anyone wishing to speak on an agenda item must complete a request-to-speak form by 9 a.m. on the day of the meeting.
The meeting opened with a roll call in which Supervisor Crosby (District 1), Supervisor Gomez (District 2) and Supervisor Antonory (District 3) were recorded present in person. A board member moved to approve consent agenda items 1 and 2; another board member seconded. The motion carried on a voice vote of three ayes and no dissent.
No members of the public had submitted requests to speak, and the board did not hear public comment on agenda items. After the consent vote the chair closed the library district meeting and the county prepared to convene the Flood Control District meeting as its next item of business.
