The Cochise County Flood Control District Board on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, approved consent agenda items 1 and 2 and adjourned, voting 3-0 in the Supervisor's Hearing Room on Melody Lane in Bisbee.
The action was procedural: the board conducted a roll call, heard no public comment, and approved the consent agenda after a motion and a second. Supervisors Crosby (District 1), Gomez (District 2) and Anthony (District 3) were present in person and recorded the unanimous vote.
Board staff opened the meeting by noting that the public could attend in person or via Microsoft Teams and that request-to-speak forms were due by 9 a.m. No members of the public submitted comments during the call to the public. After the consent vote, the chair announced the next meeting immediately following would be a Cochise County Jail District Board of Directors meeting to approve minutes and demands.
The board took no other substantive action during the flood control district session and did not discuss or vote on project-specific flood-control measures, budgets, contracts, or ordinance changes at this meeting.
