The CHSD 155 Board of Education voted to approve the district’s Consolidated District Plan (CDP) so staff can submit it to the Illinois State Board of Education and start the federal grant application process, officials said.
District presenters Rachel Kesey and Steve Canope reviewed the CDP in committee and posted the plan in the board packet; the board noted there were no significant changes this year but that formal board approval is required for ISBE submission and grant applications.
Steve Keefer moved to approve the plan; Stephanie Macra seconded. The motion passed on a roll‑call vote with board members present voting yes.
District administrators said approval would allow staff to proceed with federal grant applications tied to the CDP.
