Organizers plan 'Dark Crawl' arts event on south side of the square, South Main Street

At a Bedford County meeting, a participant described plans for a "Dark Crawl" arts event on the south side of the square and along South Main Street, with artists set up on sidewalks and several painting live at their booths.

The participant said the event will take place on sidewalks "on the south side of the square and then on South Main Street going down toward the fly" and added, "we're not actually pairing them with the retail establishments the way we did the last time we did this event, but it'll be on the sidewalks in front of the retail establishments." The participant noted the event had been postponed two weeks earlier because of a poor weather forecast: "I assume this was supposed to have taken place two weeks ago and got postponed because we had a bad bad weather forecast." On activity during the event, the participant said, "we're gonna have a couple of the artists that are actually gonna be painting at their booths during the event."
