Council members and the mayor praised the work to complete the rezone after years of discussion: "I am just so excited that this is finally coming to a closure," one council member said, referencing a multiyear effort to resolve zoning and code differences affecting mobile-home and RV park properties.
The ordinance passed on the final reading with recorded ayes from all council members present. No council members spoke against the change on the record.
