The Kenosha County Board unanimously approved two separate sets of land‑use amendments and rezonings affecting properties in the towns of Wheatland and Randall.
Supervisor Brown moved approval of Resolution 105 and Ordinances 24 and 25, which address property owned by the Catherine H. Kirkman irrevocable income‑only trust with Brent Zirbel as agent. As read into the record, the actions change a parcel’s land‑use designation on the county comprehensive plan and request rezoning in the Town of Wheatland; the committee record shows the town approved the proposal and the Planning, Development and Extension Education Committee recommended approval. Supervisor Decker seconded the motion; the clerk called the matter and the board approved it unanimously.
Supervisor Brown then moved approval of Resolution 106 and Ordinances 26 and 27 regarding property identified as Geneva 12400 Wilmot LLC in the Town of Randall. The ordinances request rezoning of the parcel from B‑5 Wholesale Trade and Warehousing District to M‑1 Limited Manufacturing District and C‑1 Lowland Resource Conservancy District, and request a corresponding change on the county comprehensive plan map from commercial and non‑farmed wetland to industrial and non‑farmed wetland. That package passed unanimously after a second from Supervisor Nordigan.
The clerk noted Supervisor Carroll was excused for these items. The committee record, as read at the meeting, indicates both sets of measures passed unanimously at the Planning, Development and Extension Education Committee before coming to the full board.
No amendments or recorded roll‑call divisions were offered during floor discussion; the chair called for the ayes and the measures were approved on voice vote.
