The committee member initiating the motion asked, “So you need a motion?” and moved to proceed; Jim seconded. The committee then voted by voice and the motion carried.
Staff explained the project previously received committee approval to advance and forestry and land management had no objection; the zoning department concluded a shoreline permit was required after consulting the Department of Natural Resources. The permit application is zero cost to the county.
The committee’s vote authorized staff to sign and submit the application on the county’s behalf so the association may proceed with the canoe landing permitting process.
