The Plaistow Board of Selectmen voted May 19 to approve a settlement agreement and release with Sweet Hill Farm resolving a pending court matter, and the board authorized the town’s attorneys to complete the agreement.
Town staff said the settlement resolves outstanding claims without admission of fault and includes mutual actions such as removal or posting of certain statements and a joint read statement acknowledging the matter is settled. The settlement document was placed in selectmen’s folders and the board voted to approve the agreement as recommended by the town attorneys.
The motion to approve the settlement was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote with all three selectmen present voting in favor. No financial terms were read into the record during the public meeting; the town manager and attorneys will proceed with the implementation steps described in the agreement.
